Job Description

Job Title: Senior Writer

Total Relevant Experience: 6-7 years

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Interpret client briefs and write original content, for a range of marketing platforms, especially websites
  • Understand client needs and target audiences through research
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to ideate solutions
  • Craft compelling narratives through storytelling
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure high-quality standards, and consistency in brand's tone and voice
  • Revise content based on internal and client feedback/direction
  • Oversee work on assigned projects and provide direction to other writers in the team
  • Input content to the client's content management software (CMS)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept development to delivery
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team, and to client representatives as needed
  • Lead business pitches to win new clients or projects

Skills required

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • A self-starter with a passion for research and learning
  • A creative, outside the box thinker
  • Understanding of different writing styles for various audiences
  • Adept in creating brand style guides
  • Experience working on information architecture for websites and understands UI/UX
  • Familiar with content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal, Sitecore, AEM, etc.
  • Proficient in AI prompt engineering and leveraging AI to improve process efficiencies
  • Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and exceptional execution
