About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Content Editor to be the crucial human touch in our AI-powered content creation engine. You will be responsible for transforming AI-generated drafts into polished, engaging, and high-performing content that resonates with our clients audiences.

This role is perfect for a talented editor who is fascinated by the future of content and wants to be at the forefront of combining human expertise with AI efficiency. Your primary mission will be to ensure every piece of content we produce is not just grammatically perfect, but also coherent, valuable, and aligned with client brand voice.

This is a contract role for now and there is a path for a full time role if things go well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, edit, and proofread AI-generated content (articles, blog posts, web copy) for clarity, grammar, style, and tone.
  • Restructure sentences and paragraphs to improve readability, flow, and overall coherence, ensuring the content feels natural and human-written.
  • Verify and fact-check key claims, statistics, and information within the content to ensure accuracy and credibility.
  • Adapt editing style to match the unique brand voice, and guidelines of various clients across different industries.
  • Collaborate closely with SEO Content Strategists to understand the goals of each content piece and ensure the final product meets strategic objectives.
  • Provide qualitative feedback on AI-generated drafts to help our team refine and improve our internal AI workflows.

Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years of professional experience in content editing, copy editing, or a similar role, preferably in a digital marketing or agency environment.
  • BA / MA in English.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, with an outstanding portfolio showcasing your skills in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
  • A solid understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to content creation.
  • Proven ability to edit content efficiently and at scale without sacrificing quality.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfort and curiosity about working with AI writing tools and new technologies.
