We are looking for an experienced
Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong hands-on expertise in
Oracle Database Administration,
Oracle APEX installation/upgrade/administration, and
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The ideal candidate will have solid production support experience, exposure to
OCI Compute, Network, and Database services, and working knowledge of
Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) as an added advantage.
Oracle Database Administration
- Provide end-to-end DBA support for missioncritical production environments.
- Handle production support, incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Perform database installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance.
- Manage Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments (setup, monitoring, failover, switchover).
- Execute database patching, upgrades, PSU/RU application, and security hardening.
- Monitor database performance, perform tuning, and capacity planning.
- Ensure database backup, recovery, and DR readiness.
- Support compliance, availability, and performance SLAs.
Oracle APEX (Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX installation, configuration, upgrade, and administration.
- Manage APEX environments across DEV / TEST / PROD.
- Troubleshoot APEX-related issues and support application teams.
- Coordinate APEX upgrades and compatibility with database versions.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience managing OCI services, including:
- Compute (VMs, Bare Metal)
- Networking (VCN, Subnets, Security Lists, NSGs, Load Balancers)
- Database Systems (DB Systems, Autonomous where applicable)
- Provision, manage, and monitor OCI resources.
- Support migrations and operations of Oracle databases on OCI.
- Implement OCI best practices for security, availability, and performance.
- Work with OCI IAM, compartments, and policies.
Oracle E-Business Suite (Add-on / Nice to Have)
- Basic working knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture.
- Ability to support DBA-related activities for EBS environments (DB tier support, cloning, patching support).
- Understanding of EBS integrations and dependencies is a plus
