Responsibilities : What You'll Do
As a Senior Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include :
Product Scaling & R&D Collaboration
- Work directly with the Research & Development (R&D) team to analyze current product architecture and implement strategies to effectively scale the existing product infrastructure to meet growing demands.
Automation & Provisioning
- Develop and implement automation solutions for VM and other service provisioning tasks within the cloud environment (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Develop, debug, and fix complex PowerShell scripts for system administration, configuration, and automation.
- Establish and document robust automation processes to ensure repeatable and reliable infrastructure management.
Cloud Infrastructure & Management
- Set up and maintain auto-scaling mechanisms for cloud-based applications to ensure high availability and performance.
- Build and maintain repeatable processes for managing infrastructure and storage resources efficiently.
- Monitor and manage automated backup and restore processes for critical cloud services.
Security & Optimization
- Apply security best practices to secure and harden VMs and networks (e.g., patching, configuration baselines, access control).
- Identify opportunities to optimize cost and resource consumption within the cloud infrastructure without compromising performance.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Collaborate with Product Owners, DevOps, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to design and create a seamless Continuous Delivery (CD) process.
- Create and maintain relevant technical documentation to capture key infrastructure decisions, configurations, and operating procedures.
- Uphold Verisma Core Values and ensure all business transactions are conducted with integrity and accuracy.
Qualifications : What You'll Bring
Experience : 5 to 8 years of proven experience in Windows System Administration with a strong focus on cloud services (Azure/AWS) and automation.
Technical Skills (Must-Have)
- Expertise in PowerShell scripting for system management and task automation.
- Deep understanding of Virtual Machines (VMs), cloud networking, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platform features for automation, scaling, and cost optimization.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for collaborating with global teams and documenting complex processes.
