Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to lead a critical transition of our cloud
ecosystem. You will be responsible for the end-to-end migration of workloads between cloud
landing zones, ensuring seamless hybrid connectivity between our on-premises data centers
and the cloud. This role requires a deep understanding of network topology, Infrastructure as
Code (IaC), and robust CI/CD monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Migration & Landing Zone Management
- Lead the migration of resources, identity, and governance frameworks from one Cloud
Subscription/Landing Zone to another (Azure Management Groups).
- Ensure the new environment adheres to the Well-Architected Framework regarding
security, cost, and performance.
- Automate the provisioning of Landing Zone components using Terraform, Bicep, or
CloudFormation.
- Hybrid Connectivity & Networking
- Configure and maintain stable, secure connections between On-Premises Servers/LAN
and Cloud Environments.
- Manage Site-to-Site VPNs, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, and SD-WAN integrations.
- Troubleshoot complex routing issues across hybrid firewalls and virtual appliances.
- Advanced Pipeline Configuration
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure
DevOps) for multi-environment deployments.
Technical Qualifications
- Cloud Platforms: Expert-level knowledge of Azure (specifically Landing Zone
architecture).
- Infrastructure as Code: Mastery of Terraform or Pulumi for environment parity.
- Networking: Strong grasp of CIDR blocks, Subnetting, DNS, and Private
Link/Endpoints.
- Containers: Experience managing and deploying to Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) or Docker-
based environments.
- Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for migration automation.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a Lift and Shift or Refactor migration project involving large-
scale data transfer.
- Certification in Cloud Security or Network Engineering (e.g., CCNP, Azure Network
Engineer Associate).
