Aspect Ratio is expanding in the space of Competitive Intelligence and Market Research and we're looking for experienced candidates to be part of our team. The position requires candidates to be comfortable working across a broad range of strategic topics around the pharmaceutical value chain from drug discovery to commercial across therapeutic areas.
Qualification: MPharm/ PhD in Life Sciences/ MBA from a top-tier institute.
Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in business/management consulting, pharma equity research, or strategy/insights/competitive intelligence teams in pharma companies. Work experience in Pharma is mandatory. Experience in storyboarding for C-Suite will be advantageous.
Areas of delivery for the team include:
- The team will be responsible to support questions coming from C-suite executives.
- The area of delivery will be broad ranging from heavy secondary research (including scientific literature reviews) to structured data analysis.
- Performing in-depth secondary research on specific topics as needed by the client.
- Creating impactful presentations for the client to use in meetings.
- Examples of projects include competitive benchmarking, market intelligence, detailed industry analysis, market entry/assessment/sizing studies, conference coverage, opportunity assessments, market landscape creation, pipeline analysis and clinical trial analysis.
Responsibilities of the individual include:
- Establish oneself as a trusted thought partner for the client and manage client relationships to ensure long-term strategic partnerships.
- Lead a team of analysts and associate consultants to manage end-to-end delivery on competitive intelligence engagements spanning secondary research, quantitative data analysis, and scientific literature synthesis.
- Drive solutioning and analytical approach for new and ambiguous client questions, including identifying relevant sources, developing analytical frameworks, and generating insights.
- Gather, analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations.
- Synthesize the analysis into executive level documents such as PPT decks, excel reports, etc. using strong story boarding skills.
- Regularly monitor progress and quality of deliverables, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Regular/daily quality check of internal output.
- Team training and development of analysts.

- Extensive knowledge of data and new sources especially within the pharma domain.
- Project management including preparing project status updates as required.
- Expertise in MS-PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
- Proficiency with MS-Excel would be a plus.
