The Team

We are the Global ITAM team, a key part of Global IT Asset Management at Hitachi Digital. Our mission is to protect the company's IT assets and manage the IT asset lifecycle effectively, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance requirements. We also support the integrity of our customers vital information systems through robust asset governance.

As passionate advocates of IT Asset Management, we are a team of innovators, out-of-the-box thinkers, and collaborative problem-solvers. We continuously seek smarter, more efficient ways to enhance our practices and strive for excellence in all aspects of ITAM operations, especially in Software Asset Management (SAM).

The Role:

• Identify, document, and report license compliance issues and recommend solutions for a fix.
• Maintain the accuracy of data in the Asset Management System according to SLAs responsible for maintaining, updating, tracking, and reporting on all assets.
• Work closely with various IT groups responsible for different IT assets.
• Maintain software standards, validate product lists and maintenance contracts within the asset management database. Coordinate software license and maintenance agreement reviews.

What You'll Bring:

• 5-10 years experience in software compliance management
• Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of software assets
• ITIL Foundations Certificate and experience in a multicultural environment
• Familiarity with asset management tools like Flexera, ServiceNow (SAM/SaaS modules), Zylo, Productiv, etc.
• Strong skills in reconciliation, matching, comparison, and manual data reconciliation
• Experience reviewing contracts/agreements and interpreting them accurately
• Knowledge of software vendors and their products (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, Atlassian, Zoom, Miro, etc.)
• Understanding of licensing terms, EULAs, PURs, and vendor changes
• Basic understanding of FinOps (Cloud), SaaS, and AI management
• Excellent people skills and ability to collaborate across teams, partners, and customers
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver a great customer experience
