Job Description
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative SAP solutions. Your primary focus will be on creating robust SAP Gateway and ODATA services, ensuring seamless integration within complex enterprise environments. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team, utilizing your expertise to drive technical excellence and deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of SAP Gateway and ODATA services, ensuring alignment with enterprise requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP solutions with other enterprise systems.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP Gateway and ODATA services, ensuring timely resolution.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, contributing to the continuous improvement of our solutions.
- Document and maintain technical specifications and design documents for future reference and knowledge transfer.
- Participate in client meetings and workshops, representing the company's technical expertise.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAP Gateway and ODATA services to ensure optimal system performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on SAP Gateway and ODATA services.
- Proven expertise in SAP Fiori integrations and RESTful service development.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, including object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience in working with complex enterprise systems and a track record of successful implementations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP or SAP Gateway are highly advantageous.
