Senior Consultant - SAP-SAP CPI DS

Job Description

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant for its SAP ET – Analytics – Delivery team. The role focuses on architecting, developing, and delivering SAP Cloud Platform Integration – Cloud Data Services (CPI‑DS) solutions, especially around IBP and S/4HANA integrations. The candidate will drive design workshops, mentor junior staff, and ensure high‑quality delivery under tight timelines while traveling globally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct design workshops for both business and IT stakeholders.
• Design integration architecture for CPI‑DS across diverse customer data sources.
• Develop complex CPI‑DS tasks exchanging data between IBP, ECC, S/4HANA, APO, HANA DB, flat files, and other systems.
• Configure and maintain pre‑scripts and post‑scripts for data transformations.
• Set up CPI‑DS agents, connections, and scheduling in customer landscapes.
• Implement RFC function‑module based integrations pulling data from IBP to ECC/APO.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
• Manage project delivery within aggressive timelines and short‑notice requirements.
• Collaborate with functional teams on IBP master data, planning levels, and add‑ons.
• Travel domestically and internationally for short‑term or long‑term engagements.
  
  

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP integration experience, with at least 4 years in SAP CPI‑DS.
• Minimum of 4 end‑to‑end CPI‑DS implementation projects.
• Deep expertise in SAP CPI‑DS and IBP, including master data and planning concepts.
• Strong functional knowledge of S/4HANA and IBP integration scenarios.
• Hands‑on experience with RFC function‑module integration, XML inputs/outputs, and ABAP.
• Understanding of CDS views, OData, and CI working knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency in setting up CI‑DS agents, connections, and scheduling administration.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to lead workshops.
• Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver results.
• Willingness to travel globally for short‑term or long‑term assignments.
