Accountabilities:
As a QM Data Migration Expert (SAP), you will be responsible for designing and executing data migration activity for SAP systems. Your role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of migrated data. You will oversee secure and consistent data transfers between systems, maintaining quality throughout the process. Additionally, you will manage pre- and post-load activities for QM migration objects and address any issues that arise during execution. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and constraints.
- Define the scope of data migration objects in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Review data design and specification documents to finalize loading field requirements in collaboration with data analysts and the data design lead team.
- Communicate source and target field requirements to the DSP team.
- Determine appropriate loading mechanisms for migration objects based on data design.
- Develop custom load programs in S/4 HANA using LTMOM.
- Prepare functional specification documents for data migration objects.
- Coordinate pre- and post-load activities for QM migration objects and resolve any issues that arise.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data migration challenges promptly.
- Work closely with IT, business teams, and system integrators on migration activities.
- Act as an experienced QM consultant on data migration and governance projects, including data cleansing, validation, development, testing, and execution.
- Manage data cleansing and collection reporting with the Data Migration Team and business stakeholders.
- Oversee development and testing of data migration tools for SAP Data Migration Cockpit (S/4 HANA) implementations.
- Plan and coordinate actual data loads, ensuring alignment with overall cutover planning.
- Identify and manage sequencing of data objects for migration.
Experience:
- Over 6+ years of experience in SAP QM with strong expertise in both master data and transactional data.
- Proven track record in Data Migration projects.
- In-depth understanding of technical details at field and table levels for QM objects.
- Skilled in S/4HANA QM configuration and Fiori applications.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong collaborator, capable of working across program teams, bridging Business and IT, and operating independently.
- Experienced in hybrid work environments involving internal and external resources across multiple geographies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain processes and related business outcomes within the relevant capability area.
- Solid understanding of GxP and SOX compliance requirements, with hands-on experience in validated environments.
Skills:
- SAP Certified in SAP S/4HANA Quality Management
- Legacy Data Migration with S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
- Knowledge on JIRA, SAP Solution Manager, DSP(Data Stewardship Platform), LSMW, Winshuttle & Testing Tools.
Education Background
- Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate from reputed University
