Job Description
As an integral part of the SAP PM Competency - Delivery department, the Specialist will play a crucial role in driving SAP projects, utilizing their expertise in project management and SAP landscapes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and guide a team, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery, and contributing to the overall success of Bristlecone's SAP initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SAP implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies, considering business requirements and SAP landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and stakeholders, to align project objectives and ensure smooth execution.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets, timelines, and quality standards, taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Document and maintain project records, including project plans, meeting minutes, and change requests.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and incorporate them into project strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP project management, with a proven track record of successful project deliveries.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP landscapes, including SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP solutions.
- Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, resource management, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Analytical mindset, with a problem-solving approach and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Certifications in SAP project management or related fields are preferred (e.g., SAP Certified Project Manager).
- Willingness to travel for project-related activities and client engagements.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team towards project goals.
