Job Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced SAP CO Lead to oversee and manage the SAP Controlling (CO) module implementation and operations across our organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP CO processes, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-impact SAP projects.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP CO solutions to meet organizational financial and controlling requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical SAP CO configurations.
  • Manage and optimize core SAP CO functionalities, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Product Costing (PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP CO with other SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, and PP.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to the SAP CO module, ensuring minimal downtime and operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering collaboration and skill development.
  • Prepare and deliver training materials to end-users and key stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of business processes, technical configurations, and system changes.
  • Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and recommend improvements to business processes.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP CO configuration, implementation, and support.
  • Strong knowledge of key SAP CO submodules, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Product Costing (PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
  • Proven experience in integrating SAP CO with other modules (FI, MM, SD, PP).
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its Controlling functionalities.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP CO certification or equivalent training.
  • Experience with global SAP implementations and rollouts.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting tools like SAP Fiori or SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud).
  • Understanding of management accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum project methodologies.
