Job Description
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a vital role in driving the successful implementation and configuration of SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing manufacturing execution and supply chain efficiency for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SAP PP/DS implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Configure and customize SAP PP/DS modules to meet specific business requirements.
- Perform gap analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and performance of SAP PP/DS solutions.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for any PP/DS-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and supply chain, to align PP/DS solutions with business needs.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP PP/DS innovations and industry best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations and workshops to demonstrate the value of SAP PP/DS solutions.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP PP/DS implementation and consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or APO environments, with a focus on PP/DS modules.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and finite scheduling techniques.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of successful SAP PP/DS implementations and client satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required for client engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
