Availability to Join: Immediate to 30 days

Job Description:

We are seeking a Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) to support our client's digital transformation initiatives using the Pega platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on development skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team to design, build, and enhance Pega applications. This role will be part of a delivery team and may be based on‑site or offshore, depending on project and client needs. It offers an excellent opportunity to grow technical expertise while working under guidance from senior architects and consultants.

Essential Technical Qualification:

Mandatory:

  • Pega Certified System Architect (CSA)
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
  • 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in Pega application development with at least one end‑to‑end project implementation.
  • Experience working on Pega 7.x / 8.x / latest Pega versions.

Mandatory Platform Exposure

Hands‑on project experience in at least one of the following:

  • Pega Constellation applications – OOTB UI usage, dashboards/insights, basic developer‑level debugging
  • Pega Customer Service (CS) framework – Interactions, Channels, Digital Messaging, Dialogs, Suggested Cases/Offers, CDH and Knowledge integration

Experience in both Constellation and CS is considered a strong advantage.

Core Pega Technical Skills

Good understanding of case management concepts, including:

  • Parent–child cases
  • Parallel processing
  • Locking and data propagation
  • Use of standard and advanced flow shapes
  • Hands‑on experience with Flows, Screen Flows, Activities, SLAs, and decision rules.
  • Working knowledge of Declarative Rules, Data Pages, and background processing concepts.
  • Experience in configuring integrations such as REST, Email, File, MQ, JMS, with exposure to synchronous and asynchronous patterns.
  • Basic understanding of Report Definitions, dashboards, and insights.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using Pega developer tools.

Delivery & Collaboration

  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and enhance Pega applications following Pega guardrails and best practices.
  • Support application design and implementation activities under guidance from senior architects.
  • Participate in design discussions to understand business requirements and domain context.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and defects.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for assigned components.
  • Create prototypes and proofs of concept to validate requirements and design approaches.
  • Adhere to established coding, testing, and quality standards.
  • Participate in show‑and‑tell sessions and demos, incorporating feedback to improve solutions.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a project delivery team to ensure timely and high‑quality outcomes.

Preferred Qualification: (Optional/Good to have)

  • Exposure to Pega frameworks such as Customer Service, CRM, BFSI, Smart Dispute, Smart Investigate, CLM‑KYC
  • Awareness of performance tools such as PAL / PLA / PDC.
  • Basic understanding of Java, SQL, Unix/Linux concepts.
  • Ability to assist senior team members with design reviews, estimations, and integration discussions.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
