What you will be doing at Evalueserve as Patent drafting

  • Patent Application Drafting (for filing in US, EP and/or India) – Understanding invention disclosures related to various technical domains determining novelty of invention based on comparison with known prior art, conducting inventor interviews, drafting patent application (including claims, detailed description, drawings), reviewing patent application drafted by team members, and mentoring team members for drafting patent application.

What we're looking for Patent Drafting

  • IP Strategy Support Patent Analytics and Landscaping – Analyze patents in a particular domain of various competitors to highlight R&D trends, evolutions, alternatives, and competitive intelligence specifically in semiconductor equipments, fabrication technology, electronic materials, display and alternative energy systems
  • Review patent applications drafted by team members to ensure high-quality claim structure, specification clarity, enablement, and alignment with USPTO requirements.
  • Identify gaps in technical disclosure and guide the team in strengthening the application before submission.
  • Draft independent and dependent claims, detailed description, and drawings for US filings (and coordinate variations for EP/India as needed).
  • Evaluate invention disclosures across multiple technology domains to determine novelty, patentability, and scope of protection.
  • Lead technical discussions with inventors, R&D engineers, and client stakeholders to extract complete disclosure.
  • Clarify invention details, embodiments, and use-case scenarios to support robust drafting.
  • Manage client expectations, timelines, and deliverables professionally.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications related to drafting, review, and revision
  • Professionals with M.Tech/ B.Tech (Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Signal Processing, Semiconductor Manufacturing/Fabrication, VLSI, ) with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience are eligible.
  • Strong analytical skills with thorough understanding of the technology domain.
  • Excellent comprehension and presentation skills.
  • Responsible attitude and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and active listening skills.
