The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Consultant – Kubernetes & Cloud Platform with strong consulting experience in designing, implementing, modernizing, and migrating enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
This is not an operations or support role. We are looking for consultants who can engage with enterprise customers, understand business and technical requirements, design platform architectures, execute complex implementations, and lead Kubernetes migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Consulting
- Engage with enterprise customers to understand business and technical requirements.
- Lead technical discovery workshops and platform assessments.
- Design enterprise-grade Kubernetes platform architectures.
- Prepare High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), implementation plans, and migration strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices throughout project delivery.
Kubernetes Platform Implementation
- Deploy and configure enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
- Implement production-ready, highly available Kubernetes environments.
- Configure networking, storage, ingress, security, observability, and platform services.
- Design multi-cluster and multi-site Kubernetes architectures.
- Integrate enterprise authentication, RBAC, monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery.
Kubernetes Migration & Modernization
- Assess existing Kubernetes environments.
- Plan and execute migrations between Kubernetes platforms.
- Migrate workloads from VMware Tanzu, Rancher, upstream Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, or other Kubernetes distributions.
- Lead migration projects to:
- Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP)
- Red Hat OpenShift
- Minimize downtime while ensuring application compatibility and platform stability.
- Develop migration runbooks, validation procedures, rollback strategies, and post-migration optimization plans.
Platform Integration
- Integrate Kubernetes platforms with enterprise infrastructure.
- Configure CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement GitOps workflows.
- Automate platform deployment using Infrastructure as Code.
- Integrate monitoring, logging, security scanning, and policy enforcement.
Technical Leadership
- Mentor junior consultants.
- Review solution designs.
- Lead customer workshops and technical presentations.
- Support pre-sales activities and technical proposals.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices.
Required Skills
- 6–10 years of IT experience.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on Kubernetes consulting experience.
- Strong experience in enterprise Kubernetes architecture and implementation.
- Experience delivering customer-facing consulting engagements.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.

- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Red Hat OpenShift certifications
- Nutanix Certified Professional – Kubernetes (or equivalent)
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate
