Senior Consultant

Nisarg Agripreneurship Foundation is a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to driving sustainable development in education, rural livelihood, and environmental conservation. Our three flagship programs—Abhishala, SYLIFE, and Pragati through Prakriti—are at the forefront of transforming communities and empowering individuals. We are looking for a passionate and driven Sr. Consultant to join our team and play a crucial role in securing the resources necessary to advance our mission.

This role is designed for a powerhouse professional who thrives at the intersection of government relations, strategic networking, and business development. You will be the face of the organisation, responsible for unlocking high-value projects, onboarding Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and building a robust ecosystem of influence across the state.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Revenue Generation & PSU Onboarding

Identify and close high-value consulting contracts and project tenders within Madhya Pradesh.

Strategically position Nisarg to be empanelled with key PSUs and lead the end-to-end pitch-to-contract cycle.

Open new revenue streams by identifying unmet needs in the state's industrial and governmental sectors.

2. Fundraising & Capital Strategy

Identify and engage with potential donors, HNIs, and institutional funds specifically interested in the MP growth story.

Leverage deep state connections to secure government grants, industrial incentives, and specialised funding available for organisations like Nisarg.

Craft and deliver high-impact pitches that articulate Nisarg's social impact.

3. Strategic Liaisoning & Networking

Influence policy discussions and participate in industrial committees to ensure Nisarg is at the forefront of state-level initiatives.

Maintain a power-map of key stakeholders, ensuring Nisarg's leadership has a seat at the table for strategic meetings.

Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in government relations or strategic business development, fundraising, and CSR, with a deep understanding of the MP bureaucracy.

You should have a verifiable history of facilitating high-value project closures.

Exceptional command over both English and Hindi, with the ability to draft and deliver high-impact presentations.

Proven track record of successfully securing funding from donors, HNIs, and corporate and public partnerships.
