Senior Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Consultant with experience in Business Analysis with strong expertise in Private Banking Tax Regulatory Reporting to lead business analysis, requirement gathering, functional design, and project delivery for regulatory initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Tax Regulatory topics such as German Tax, Client Tax Statement Reporting, AEOI/CRS, FATCA, or IRS871m,combined with strong banking domain expertise to bridge business and technology teams across global stakeholders..

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead business analysis activities for Tax Regulatory initiatives within Private Banking. Gather and analyze business requirements from Product Owners, Business Users, and key stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain General Functional Specifications(GFS), Detailed Functional Specifications (DFS), user stories, business process documentation, and functional designs. Perform impact analysis across multiple applications and coordinate with Business Analysts from different application teams.
• Support solution design, development, unit testing, SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-production support.
• Review SIT strategy, test scenarios, test cases, and test results to ensure delivery quality.
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution during UAT and Production.
• Organize workshops, requirement discussions, steering meetings, and stakeholder presentations.
• Analyze functional gaps between European and Asian banking operations and propose standardized business solutions.

Job requirements

• Must have bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, Banking, Business Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Must have minimum 8 - 13 years of experience in Banking IT. Overall Experience not more than 15 years of experience.
• Must have minimum 4 years of experience working on Tax Regulatory initiatives within Private Banking.
• Candidates mandatory have experience in one or more of the following Tax Regulatory domains: German Tax Reporting, Client Tax Statement Reporting, AEOI / CRS, FATCA, IRS871m
• Performance Reporting (related regulatory topics)
• Must have Strong knowledge of Private Banking operations and Strong understanding of Financial Products.
• IT experience: general knowledge (SQL) is mandatory
• SIT / UAT coordination
• Test Management
• Knowledge on Reporting systems (similar to Easy Tax, FiTax, SECTRAS, WM Daten, SIX)
• Knowledge on different German Tax reports for Private banking clients
