Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation & Configuration: Lead and support the implementation and configuration of Oracle Fusion Financials modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, and Expense Management.
  • Business Process Mapping: Analyze client financial management processes, identify pain points, and design solutions to address business needs using Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Solution Design & Customization: Develop and design end-to-end financial solutions, providing configuration recommendations and ensuring that the solution meets business requirements.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct system testing (unit, integration, user acceptance) to ensure that all configurations are working as expected and meeting client requirements.
  • Data Migration: Oversee data migration efforts, ensuring accurate and complete transfer of financial data from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • End-User Training & Support: Develop and deliver training sessions to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of the new system. Provide post-implementation support to resolve any issues and ensure system optimization.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Interface and communicate with client stakeholders, ensuring that project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met. Report on project status and resolve any project-related issues.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with clients to identify areas for improvement within their financial processes and recommend best practices for leveraging Oracle Fusion Financials to optimize operations.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create comprehensive documentation for project activities, including configuration guides, business process maps, and training materials.
  • Project Leadership: Provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants and team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in Oracle Fusion Financials and related financial technologies to recommend enhancements and ensure clients receive the best possible solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and configuring Oracle Fusion Financials or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), with a strong focus on financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud and its integration with other enterprise applications (e.g., HCM, Supply Chain Management).
  • Familiarity with Fusion Accounting Hub, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and other Oracle Cloud integration tools.
  • Knowledge of business process reengineering (BPR) in the context of financial processes.
  • Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Financials implementation projects in a lead or senior consultant capacity.
  • Strong experience with financial reporting and regulatory compliance using Oracle Financials.
  • Oracle Cloud Certification in Financials (preferred, but not mandatory).

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex financial and technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Ability to guide, mentor, and support junior team members and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Proven experience working directly with clients to gather requirements, provide consulting services, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial processes, ensuring compliance and consistency across all configurations.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle BI).
  • Knowledge of financial regulations such as SOX, IFRS, and GAAP and how they relate to financial systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project delivery.
  • Experience in industries such as finance, manufacturing, or retail, where Oracle Fusion Financials has been deployed at scale.
