Senior Consultant

The role

We are looking for a seasoned search consultant to run senior mandates end to end. You will be the client's trusted partner from the first brief to the final joining. You will also help grow the practice in your sectors.

What you'll do

• Lead retained and contingency mandates for senior, leadership and CXO roles, from intake to closure.
• Take detailed briefs from promoters, CXOs and CHROs, and shape the role, the target-company map and the search strategy.
• Direct market mapping and headhunting, and personally approach and assess senior candidates.
• Present strong, well-argued shortlists and manage the interview process with clients.
• Handle compensation discussions, offer negotiation, counter-offers and joining.
• Run reference checks and keep candidates warm through the notice period.
• Build lasting client relationships, win repeat business and open new accounts in your sectors.
• Mentor researchers and associates on the mandates you lead.
• Keep mandates, candidates and client activity accurately recorded in our ATS.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience, with at least 5 in executive search at a search firm.
• A proven record of closing senior and leadership roles, ideally at CXO, CXO-1 and CXO-2 levels.
• Depth in one or more of our sectors: chemicals, FMCG and consumer, pharma and healthcare, real estate, infrastructure and EPC, or manufacturing.
• A strong senior-candidate network, and comfort engaging promoters and boards.
• Sharp assessment, persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English. Hindi, Gujarati or Marathi is a plus.
• Business-development experience, including pitching and winning new mandates.
• Graduate degree required; an MBA or PGDM is preferred.
