About the Opportunity
Cielo's Global Executive Search practice is expanding its India delivery capability and we are hiring two Senior Consultants to join our team, focused on search execution across Software and Technology clients globally. These are pure delivery roles you will work as an integral part of our international search teams, executing complex retained assignments at senior and leadership level for technology clients across the US, UK, EMEA, and APAC.
If you are an experienced technology recruiter who has worked on senior or executive-level searches and who wants to move beyond contingency into the rigour and depth of retained executive search this is a compelling step up. You will work alongside Partners and Principal Consultants on live mandates, building your knowledge of global tech talent markets and developing your capability as a search professional within a world-class practice.
What You'll Do
- Execute search assignments across software and technology sectors including enterprise software, product, engineering, and data & AI leadership roles
- Conduct targeted research and talent mapping to identify passive candidate pools within defined market segments
- Reach out to, engage, and assess senior candidates through structured approaches building detailed candidate profiles and qualification summaries
- Prepare comprehensive candidate interview reports and written assessments for client presentation
- Manage candidate relationships through the search process maintaining communication, managing timelines, and providing structured feedback
- Support Partners and Principal Consultants in assignment scoping, search strategy development, and market intelligence
- Develop and maintain a network of senior technology professionals across your specialist markets
- Contribute to research outputs including talent maps, competitor intelligence, and market benchmarking
What We're Looking For
- 48 years of recruitment experience with a clear focus on Software and/or Technology hiring
- Retained, RPO-embedded, or senior contingency search backgrounds all considered
- Demonstrable ability to identify and engage passive candidates through research-led outreach not just inbound or job-board sourcing
- Familiarity with the global technology talent landscape: key employers, talent hubs, role typologies (engineering leadership, product, data, platform, etc.)
- Strong written English: you will be preparing candidate reports and assessments that will be read by global clients
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple live searches concurrently
- Curiosity about the business context behind roles not just the job spec, but why the hire matters strategically
- Ambition to develop within executive search and grow your professional capability over time
- Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience working in or with an RPO or embedded search function
- Familiarity with global technology clients or cross-border search mandates
- Prior use of executive search tooling (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter, Invenias, or similar ATS/CRM)
