About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Consultant – Data & AI to join our Data & AI Skill Centre. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing Splunk-based solutions to support enterprise monitoring, security analytics, operational intelligence, and data-driven decision-making for customer environments.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Splunk architecture, onboarding, dashboarding, data analytics, administration, and integration with enterprise platforms while ensuring scalability, security, and performance optimization.

Splunk Administration & Architecture

  • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Splunk Enterprise / Splunk Cloud environments.
  • Perform Splunk installation, configuration, upgrades, clustering, indexing, and distributed deployments.
  • Manage Indexers, Search Heads, Deployment Servers, Forwarders, and Cluster Management.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance optimization of Splunk infrastructure.

Data Onboarding & Integration

  • Configure and manage data ingestion from multiple sources including:
    • Servers
    • Applications
    • Databases
    • APIs
    • Cloud platforms
    • Security devices
  • Develop and maintain parsing, indexing, and field extraction strategies.
  • Integrate Splunk with third-party monitoring and security tools.
Dashboarding & Reporting

  • Create interactive dashboards, alerts, reports, and visualizations.
  • Develop KPI-based monitoring solutions for business and operational teams.
  • Implement advanced searches, SPL queries, and data correlation techniques.

Automation & Optimization

  • Develop automation scripts and workflows for operational efficiency.
  • Optimize indexing, search performance, and storage utilization.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for platform issues.

Quality & Documentation

  • Maintain technical documentation including:
    • Architecture diagrams
    • Data flow documents
    • Standard operating procedures
    • Knowledge transfer materials
  • Ensure proper handover documentation for support and operational teams
Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with customer teams, architects, security teams, and project managers.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
  • Participate in solution discussions, requirement gathering, and implementation planning.

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Splunk Enterprise
  • Expertise in SPL (Search Processing Language).
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of log management, SIEM, and observability concepts.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, and automation tools.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage

About You

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Primary :

  • 6 to 7 years experience on Splunk Administration and Architecture y
  • 9 to 12 Years of overall IT experience
  • Elastic Stack , ETL Process
  • Power BI
  • Languages: Python,
  • Database : MySQL
  • OS: linux
  • Kubernetes

Certifications :

  • Splunk Core Certified Power User
  • Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin
