Working with our multi-disciplinary South Asia and regional team, we are seeking a security professional who can flexibly work across multiple consulting projects, including security risk management, protective services, crisis management and business continuity, to help our clients build secure and resilient organisations.
You will understand corporate security culture, have operational security experience, understand industry best practices and standards and be comfortable advising and engaging at all levels across a diverse group of clients from corporate security, safety, risk management, crisis and business continuity management.
This role delivers consultancy services to clients by developing innovative solutions to complex security and continuity risks. Scoping and delivering across a broad range of business risk activities including site risk and threat-vulnerability risk assessments, protective services, crisis management planning and trainings, gap analysis and benchmarking, stakeholder communications and more.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical and technical security reviews and security risk assessments in line with industry good practice and standards (including ISO 31000:2018).
- Help clients build secure organisations by advising on security risks and vulnerabilities and preparing concise mitigation strategies, plans and roadmaps.
- Personally deliver, coordinate and manage Control Risks contractors across the South Asia region to successfully execute security operations, executive protection and protective services, as and when required.
- Contribute to the client's security posture through creation of security policies, procedures, and trainings.
- Help clients enhance organisational resilience through the development and delivery of crisis management and business continuity plans and training workshops.
- Provide technical expertise and logistical support to cross-functional teams engaged in solving complex client problems, including security strategy, governance and resilience projects.
- Actively contribute and/or lead new initiatives to expand Control Risks services in the South Asia region.
- Act as a key team member on major projects, at times with a multijurisdictional focus, across a range of service lines.
Knowledge and experience:
Essential:
- Significant professional experience in a related field (security and crisis management, business continuity or defence).
- Hands on experience in security risk assessments, trainings, operational and protective services.
- Experience with ASIS standards is a must.
- Strong communications, writing, project management and analytical skills.
Preferred:
- ASIS certifications such as PSP, CPP are preferred. Exposure to additional standards like ISO 22301/ISO 31000 is advantageous.
- Business continuity management and crisis management specialist skills.
