Duties and Responsibilities:
- 6+ years of SAP Basis experience in the implementation and operations of SAP products.
- Must have experience in the implementation of S/4HANA greenfield/brownfield projects.
- During projects, the responsibilities will include establishing technical standards, guidelines, requirements, evaluating and recommending solutions to support successful completion of the project.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with various teams. He/she must establish proper documentation related to the build during project for the purpose of reference and knowledge transfer.
- The basis administrator will also be supporting operational activities during the life of the project.
- Responsible for managing operation systems such as Windows and SUSE/RHEL Linux operating systems, managing databases such as SAP HANA and SAP ASE, monitoring, performance tuning, research and troubleshooting the various SAP products such as S/4HANA, SAP PO, etc.
- SAP Cloud technologies and services experience a plus, such as integration of Ariba, CIG, CPI, Concur, SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with various teams such as the infrastructure team, configurators, and PMO.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Install and configure SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java systems based on Linux, Windows, SAP ASE, SAP HANA Database
- Diverse knowledge of the typical products in an SAP environment such as S/4 HANA, SAP GRC, SAP PO, SAP Fiori, Web Dispatcher, etc.
- Implemented SAP Notes, patch, Enhancement Pack Upgrade, Kernel Upgrade
- System monitoring, analysis, tuning, debugging & troubleshoot performance issues and process improvement System and client refreshes
- Perform upgrades of S/4HANA and ERP 6.0, SAP HANA, and other SAP products
- Process orient and proficient in technical documentation
- Work on both ongoing support and new implementation
- Fundamental understanding of networking technologies such as VPN, subnetting, network security, and troubleshooting
- Install and configure of Web Dispatcher
- Install and configure SAP Cloud Connector
- Perform various integration with SAP cloud products
