Senior Consultant, Banking / Financial Services Technology Transformation (Japanese Speaking)

Responsibilities:

Business Operations & Technology Transformation

• Support transformation projects by gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and documenting solutions.
• Assist with Fit-Gap analysis, process design, testing, and implementation activities.
• Prepare project deliverables, including process maps, business requirements, status reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams to support project delivery.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and business impacts.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Engage stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges.
• Support workshops, interviews, and requirements gathering sessions.
• Develop project updates, governance materials, and meeting documentation.
• Conduct research and provide insights on industry trends and leading practices.

Practice Development & Operations

• Support proposals, RFP responses, client research, and business development activities.
• Contribute to knowledge assets, methodologies, and internal initiatives.
• Assist with project reporting, documentation, and operational support.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with project teams and client stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high-quality deliverables.
• Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in consulting and/or transformation-related roles.
• Experience supporting business transformation, digital transformation, process improvement, operating model, or system implementation initiatives.
• Knowledge of business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, Fit-Gap analysis, and documentation development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience collaborating with business and technology stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
• Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and project documentation preparation.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, project-based environment.
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services projects would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of banking operations, business processes, or transformation initiatives would be beneficial.
• Exposure to PMO, business analysis, testing, or implementation activities would be a plus.
• Experience supporting large-scale business or technology transformation programs would be preferred.
• Experience contributing to proposal development, client presentations, or business development activities would be beneficial.
• Experience working in international or multicultural project environments would be an advantage.
• Good communication skill in both English and Japanese (Business-level proficiency as mandatory) to liaise with Japanese stakeholders and clients.
