Location Mumbai / Bangalore / Chennai
Experience 12–15 years (Hands-on coding is mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product Owners to understand product roadmap, feature rollouts, backlog creation, and sprint planning
- Coordinate work allocation across multi-location developers and testers
- Participate in sprint reviews, retrospectives, and prepare weekly/monthly reports
- Troubleshoot complex coding challenges and guide developers on best practices
- Ensure clean, readable, and maintainable Ruby code aligned with scalable architecture principles
Technical Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails
- Experience with RSpec, Resque
- Good understanding of server-side templating languages (Liquid, Slim, etc.)
- Knowledge of server-side CSS preprocessors (Sass)
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Strong understanding of scalable application design and database schema modeling
- Proficiency in code versioning tools (Git / Mercurial / SVN)
- Familiarity with development and build tools (Bundler, Rake, Bower, etc.)
- Experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodology
