Job Role: AS400 Developer
Designation: Senior Consultant- AS400
- 6 to 10+ years of experience in AS400 developing and supporting applications using the AS/400 platform, including RPGILE, CLLE, RPG400
- Strong in RPG IV, CLLE and ILE Concepts.
- Good Analytical and reasoning skills, communications
- Expertise in Requirement Gathering, Analysis & Design
- Hands on experience in AS400 RPG400 CL400 ILE RPG free format programming with DB2/SQL Database.
- Develop and maintain applications on the iSeries platform.
- Thorough knowledge of development tools for on-line and batch environments.
- ROBOT and AJS Job schedular knowledges
- Perform Security and user authority administration
- Understanding of internal controls and change management processes.
- Skill in solving technically challenging problems involving IBM iSeries-based application
- Proficient in AS400 RPG, CL & DB/400, SDA, RLU. QUERY/400 etc. Worked in production Support & Enhancement.
- Experienced in Creating and debugging RPG/CL, programs Experience on Triggers will be advantageous
- Knowledge of Reserve command Variables and Opal Codes
- Knowledge of MSGQ and JOBQ
- Ability to create Sub-procedures, Subroutines and Service Programs.
- Knowledge of SEU, PDM, DFU and Spool files.
- Experienced in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS)
- Can work independently on complex Development & support project activities.
- Person should ready to support 24*7 and on-call weekend support.
