Senior Computer Aided Design Designer

Diamond Atelier is a leading lab-grown diamond manufacturer with production facilities in Surat and sales offices in New York. We supply high-quality diamonds and diamond jewellery to clients across the USA. Our company also has a strong creative team based in Mumbai.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior CAD Head Designer to lead our jewellery CAD team in Surat. We need someone senior who can guide the team, check their work, find mistakes, and improve overall quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of CAD designers
• Check daily CAD files and correct mistakes
• Ensure designs meet quality standards and production requirements
• Train junior designers and help them improve
• Work closely with the creative team and production team
• Maintain daily work reports and timelines
• Create new designs when needed (rings, bracelets, earrings, pendants)

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in jewellery CAD (Rhino/Matrix/ZBrush/etc.)
• Strong knowledge of diamond jewellery manufacturing
• Ability to guide and manage a team
• Good understanding of proportions, detailing, and design accuracy
• Must be responsible, disciplined, and good at problem-solving
• Experience in lab-grown diamond jewellery is a plus
