Senior Commerce Cloud Tester – S4HANA

Test Planning & Strategy

Develop and own the test strategy for Commerce Cloud modules integrated with S/4HANA.

Define test scope, scenarios, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

Identify testing dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.

Ensure alignment with business requirements and solution design.

Test Execution

Perform functional, system, integration (SIT), regression, and UAT support.

Validate end-to-end flows including: product master and pricing integration, order management and ATP, checkout & payment flows, customer master & account management, inventory and fulfilment scenarios.

Execute test cases for SAP Commerce Cloud storefront, backoffice, and OCC APIs.

Integration Testing

Validate real-time and batch integrations between Commerce Cloud and S/4HANA via SAP CPI / Integration Suite, OData/REST APIs, IDocs & RFC.

Ensure accurate data flow for orders, pricing, inventory, promotions, product content, and customer data.

Defect Management

Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps.

Collaborate with technical and functional teams to resolve issues.

Provide daily and weekly test status reports.

Documentation

Prepare detailed test cases, traceability matrices, and execution logs.

Contribute to functional documentation and process flows.

Maintain reusable test assets and regression suites.

Collaboration

Work with cross-functional teams including SAP S/4, Commerce, Middleware, and Business teams.

Support business users during UAT and hypercare phases.

Participate in design workshops, sprint planning, and defect triage meetings.
