HMIE was established in Nov 2006 at Hyderabad, Telangana State, India by Hyundai Motor Group.

HMIE is a center with one of the advanced support services for research and development of Hyundai- KIA Motor Company (Namyang, South Korea), Hyundai Motor India Limited (Chennai, India) and Kia Motors India Private Limited (Penukonda, India). HMIE focuses on engineering services and quality enhancement.

Senior CMF Designer@ KIA India Design Center

Color is culture. Material is memory. Finish is the final word a car says to its owner.

Kia India Design Center is hiring a Senior CMF Designer in Hyderabad.

CMF is where a car becomes a feeling. We're looking for a designer who understands this — and who can translate the climate, light, ceremony, and daily ritual of contemporary India into specific color, material, and finish decisions that feel both globally Kia and unmistakably grounded in place.

You'll own CMF direction across exterior and interior from concept through production.

You'll develop color masters, material libraries, and finish specifications. You'll collaborate directly with HQ CMF in Namyang as a co-author.

You'll work with textile mills, finish houses, and trend partners. And you'll mentor the next generation of CMF designers in material literacy and the cultural reading that distinguishes a CMF decision from a CMF choice.

7–10 years of CMF experience — automotive, premium consumer products, or fashion/lifestyle brands. Deep material literacy. Strong color sense grounded in theory, history, and cultural reading. Inspiration drawn daily from beyond the auto industry.
