About This Role
A senior engineering role for a cloud network specialist who combines deep technical expertise with infrastructure-as-code fluency. You will develop and maintain technical solutions for cloud networks, lead large-scale projects, and serve as a technical escalation point within a high-growth cloud services team.
What You Will Do
- Manage cloud network products and solutions, design, low-level engineering, and delivery of new solutions across cloud provider networks
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and secure network architectures across multiple cloud service providers
- Configure and manage cloud networking components, VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Ansible (AAP) and Terraform with Harness and GitHub Actions
- Implement and manage multi-cloud and hybrid connectivity solutions across cloud platforms and on-premises data centres
- Monitor and optimise network performance, latency, throughput, reliability, and security
- Act as primary point of contact for Network Compliance, segmentation, patching strategy, and IAM
- Train and mentor team members; serve as escalation point for service delivery and operational issues
- Maintain detailed technical documentation using Confluence and Visio, high-level and low-level designs, as-builds, detailed diagrams
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience and certification)
- 5+ years of network development experience including DevOps-related work with AAP, Terraform, Harness, and Git
- 5+ years of experience in a lead or SME role delivering resilient cloud-based network solutions
- Deep expertise with cloud-native networking, VPC, NLB/ALB, Internet Gateways, Transit Gateways, Route 53
- Infrastructure as Code proficiency with Ansible (AAP) and Terraform
- Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid connectivity across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Strong influencing skills and ability to drive change through collaboration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of Agile SAFe
