Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Implement cloud architecture best practices for compute, networking, storage, identity management, and security.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager.
Monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with application development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to support cloud-native and hybrid applications.
Manage cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, and disaster recovery strategies.
Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and operational efficiency.
Implement backup, patching, monitoring, logging, and incident management processes.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues within OCI environments.
Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud engineering standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or cloud operations.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Good understanding of OCI services including Compute, VCN, Load Balancer, IAM, Object Storage, Monitoring, and Autonomous Database.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration and scripting.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, VPN, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
Understanding of cloud security, governance, identity management, and compliance standards.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools for cloud operations.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications are highly preferred.
Experience with multi-cloud environments such as AWS or Azure is an advantage.
Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation.
Knowledge of database administration and middleware technologies is a plus.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments.
