We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and scalable to meet our business needs.

Responsibilities

• |Primary skills - Grafana; Zabbix; Azure Monitor and ELK Log ManagementSecondary skills - Automated configuration managementOnboarding: interviewed by both Cachemire and ClientLocation: MumbaiWork time: preferably HK timezoneObjectiveImprove reliability; quality; and time-to-market of our infrastructure hosting servicesMeasure and optimize system and application performance; enable end-to-end visibility; and innovating for continual improvementRun the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system healthResponsibilitiesConfigure and implement E2E monitoring solution for applications and infrastructureConfigure and maintain log analytic tool for applications and infrastructureAbility to receive a briefing from various stakeholders of varying technical knowledge and develop mock-up views to build workable dashboards following a defined methodologyOrganize and deliver monitoring knowledge sharing with application and infra teamsIdentify automation opportunities and advise Cachemire automation teams to implement those automations; e.g.; monitoring agent setup; monitoring target auto-discovery; etc.Required skills and qualifications3-5 years experience in IT operation and maintenanceHands-on experience with Grafana; Zabbix; Azure Monitor and ELK Log ManagementExperienced with large scale monitoring system set up and maintenanceGood exposure to commonly used ITSM tools; PagerDuty and ServiceNOWBasic understanding of public cloud knowledge; including IaaS; PaaS; SaaSProactive approach to identifying problems; performance bottlenecks; and areas for improvementGood communication skills in English to align with Regional team and local delivery partners.Preferred skills and qualificationsPrevious success in maintaining monitoring systemAutomated configuration managemen

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in cloud engineering or related fields.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
