JOB SUMMARY

• Working hours: India / UK shifts (10 AM to 7:30 PM IST / 1 PM to 10:30 PM IST)
• Location: Chennai, India
• Years of Experience:8-10 years, of which minimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience with AWS.

RESPONSIBILIES:

• Implementing cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS.
• Responsible for building and maintaining AWS based solutions to support a distributed microservices architecture.
• Implementing observability tools and services to monitor the application and cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor and examine all application, performance, event, and system logs to assist in troubleshooting.
• Assisting secure the AWS infrastructure with security tools and services.
• Working with application teams to build, maintain, and document through Confluence the Development, Testing, Staging, and Production environments.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ability to work with and design Terraform scripts.
• AWS administration (networking, security, compute, containers, databases, load balancing, cloud native services)
• Security services WAF, Network Firewall, Inspector, Security Hub, GuardDuty
• Observability services Prometheus, OpenSearch, Grafana
• Microservices architecture
• Disaster recovery and high-availability strategies

SOFT SKILLS:

• Should have strong communication skills, excellent spoken and written English.
• Should be able to communicate and express ideas, issues, and suggestions effectively.
• Should be an excellent team player.
• Should be willing to support critical production issues out of working hours.
• Should have excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Should be able to document a solution.
