About The Role
At AiFA Labs, we are building next-generation technology solutions that demand scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a
Senior Cloud Engineer with strong AWS expertise who can design, build, and optimize cloud environments while working closely with cross-functional teams.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, automation, and driving cloud best practices in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure primarily on AWS cloud platform.
- Build and maintain highly available systems with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to support application deployments and improve infrastructure efficiency.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks using scripting languages.
- Monitor cloud environments, identify performance bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and governance policies.
- Support cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
- Maintain clear documentation and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or system administration.
- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
- Good understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security principles.
- Experience working with Linux and/or Windows environments.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ownership-driven mindset.
Good To Have Skills
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure (secondary cloud knowledge is a plus).
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
- Experience working in startup or product-based environments.
