Key Responsibilities:
Data Platform & Engineering
- Design and develop high-volume data ingestion components and ETL solutions from multiple internal and external sources.
- Build architectures for large-scale, real-time data streams and component services.
- Implement fault-tolerant, high-availability data systems.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security controls across all ingestion and outflow processes.
Cloud & Big Data Solutions
- Develop and deploy solutions using Cloud Data Lake technologies and distributed/NoSQL architectures.
- Administer data warehouse strategy, including architecture, data models, marts, performance, and infrastructure components.
- Scale and optimize vendor and open-source technologies for big data solutions.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Participate in project planning, design sessions, and whiteboard discussions with architects, engineers, and operations teams.
- Mentor and train team members on data engineering best practices.
- Collaborate across development, infrastructure, business, and vendor teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Innovation & Strategy
- Research emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to identify disruptive opportunities.
- Recommend data governance, security standards, and architectural guidelines to support development initiatives.
