Job Description
The Senior Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to meet business and technical requirements. This role requires deep expertise in AWS services, cloud architecture best practices, and the ability to lead complex migration and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud environments.Key Responsibilities Architect and Design: Develop high-level and detailed cloud architecture designs leveraging AWS services for enterprise-scale applications. Migration & Modernization: Lead cloud migration strategies, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and refactoring workloads. Security & Compliance: Implement AWS security best practices, IAM policies, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR). Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize AWS environments for cost, performance, and reliability. Automation & DevOps: Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation; integrate CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration: Work closely with application teams, network engineers, and security teams to align cloud solutions with business objectives. Documentation & Standards: Maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and enforce governance standards. Innovation: Stay current with AWS advancements and recommend new services or architectures to improve efficiency and scalability.
