This role demands end-to-end ownership, where you design, automate, fix, and continuously improve production systems.
What You'll Own- End-to-end Linux server setup, hardening, and performance tuning
- Implementation of security controls and proactive vulnerability mitigation
- Database installation, configuration, backup, and recovery
- Design and maintain AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM etc) and equivalent services in Azure
- Monitoring, alerting, and incident response for servers and networks
- Network design and troubleshooting
- Backup, restore, and disaster recovery (DR) planning and execution
- Ensuring systems are production-ready, fault-tolerant, and auditable
What We Expect From You- Deep, practical understanding of Linux internals
- Strong grasp of networking fundamentals
- Security-first mindset with hands-on cybersecurity implementation
- Real-world experience handling production incidents
- Ability to work independently and own outcomes
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
Nice to Have (Big Plus)- Hands-on MongoDB deployment on on-premise servers
- Experience with MongoDB Atlas
- Experience designing DR architectures
- Exposure to compliance-driven environments (healthcare, finance, enterprise)
