Job Profile: Senior Cloud Administrator - Salesforce DevOps
Location: Pune, India (Hybrid)
Preferred experience: 4-6 years
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Administrator with strong expertise in Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD automation, and release management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable deployment pipelines, ensuring seamless Salesforce releases across multiple environments while maintaining security, compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Jenkins CI/CD pipelines integrated with Salesforce DX (SFDX), Git, and automated validation frameworks.
- Manage Salesforce release and deployment processes across multiple environments, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments.
- Define and govern Git branching strategies, release workflows, and promotion processes across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Implement deployment automation with rollback mechanisms, monitoring, and validation controls to minimize production risks.
- Manage and support multi-org Salesforce environments, ensuring metadata consistency and deployment governance.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices including security scanning, secrets management, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks within CI/CD pipelines.
- Coordinate global Salesforce Health Cloud releases and manage region-specific configurations and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with development, QA, architecture, and business teams to ensure successful release planning and execution.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and drive continuous improvements in release automation and platform reliability.
- Maintain deployment documentation, release procedures, and operational best practices.
Must - Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce DevOps and Release Management.
- Strong experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipeline development and administration.
- Expertise in Salesforce DX (SFDX).
- Hands-on experience with Git, Git workflows, and branching strategies.
- Experience managing Salesforce Release & Deployment Management processes.
- Strong knowledge of Multi-Org Salesforce Environment Management.
- Experience implementing Deployment Automation and Rollback Strategies.
- Experience working with Salesforce Health Cloud implementations.
- Experience supporting global or multi-country Salesforce implementations.
- Experience with automated testing and validation frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and release reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Salesforce Governance and Compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices including security scans, secrets management, and compliance automation.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills.
