Job Purpose
The Senior Clinical Product Analyst serves as a resource for product, engineering, and testing teams to ensure clinical features meet the end user's needs within Welldoc's suite of mobile and desktop applications. He/she provides clinical context for concepts, clarifies requirements, and conducts preliminary testing.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical context for feature development to the engineering team to ensure clinical requirements and intent are understood for Welldoc and white-labeled products.
- Participate in requirements walk-throughs and daily scrum meetings to assist with questions from BAs and engineering related to clinical requirements.
- Perform initial round of verification testing for clinical accuracy for both product features and AI models.
- Support AI interns by explaining concepts and answering questions about a
- feature's clinical intent.
- Perform post-production testing after releases to simulate realistic use of the product on a daily basis.
- Compare observed behavior to expected behavior based on requirements and open JIRA tickets for any observed bugs.
- Review proposed defects before defect triage for any clinical concerns.
- Participate in comp intel research.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Experience in nutrition, weight management, and diabetes care in an adult population is required.
- Exposure to US standards of care put out by the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, The Obesity Society, and/or the Dietary Guidelines for Americans is preferred.
- Prior experience with the development of mobile or web applications for the health care context is preferred.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and written and verbal English communication are required.
- Ability to proactively manage projects and deliverables is required.
- Must be a registered Dietitian from IDA or registered in the State Nursing Council
Required Education
Graduate in Nursing, Home Science, Biotechnology, Health & Nutrition, Food & Nutrition Technology, or equivalent.
