About the Role
Jiv Daya Foundation is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Pharmacist or healthcare professional to support its expanding medicine access and patient support initiatives across Oncology, Tuberculosis (TB), and Rheumatology programs in India.
This is a field-oriented and operational leadership role requiring a strong understanding of specialty medicines, hospital coordination, patient counseling, procurement, inventory management, and healthcare program implementation. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working with oncology, TB, biologics, immunology, or specialty pharmaceutical products in hospital or program settings.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be based in Delhi NCR only
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Educational Qualification:
- B.Pharm + Master's Degree (M.Pharm / MSc / MPH or equivalent) preferred
- Candidates with advanced scientific or healthcare degrees are encouraged to apply
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred:
- Oncology medicines and biologics
- Tuberculosis treatment programs
- Rheumatology and autoimmune disease therapies
- Specialty pharmaceuticals and hospital coordination
- Strong communication, documentation, and vendor coordination skills required
- Willingness to travel extensively across hospitals and healthcare centers in India
Core Responsibilities1. Hospital & Site Engagement
- Conduct assessments and visits to government hospitals, specialty centers, TB hospitals, oncology departments, and rheumatology clinics
- Identify gaps in medicine access and evaluate institutions for program support
- Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, administrators, and healthcare staff regarding medicine utilization and patient support programs
- Represent JDF initiatives professionally during institutional meetings and site visits
2. Specialty Medicine Program Management
- Support donation and access programs involving:
- Oncology medicines
- TB medications and consumables
- Rheumatology biologics and immunology therapies
- Monitor medicine usage, treatment adherence, and patient follow-up
- Assist with implementation and scaling of healthcare access initiatives across multiple institutions
3. Procurement, Inventory & Vendor Coordination
- Manage procurement and inventory of specialty medicines and consumables
- Coordinate with pharmaceutical vendors and distributors for quotations, dispatches, invoicing, and deliveries
- Ensure proper storage, tracking, and accountability of donated medicines
- Support price negotiations and medicine sourcing strategies
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory and utilization records
- Prepare weekly and quarterly operational reports
- Track medicine movement, institutional utilization, and patient support data
- Draft professional communication, donation documentation, and institutional coordination letters
5. Patient Support & Counseling
- Counsel patients regarding medicine adherence and treatment compliance
- Coordinate follow-up activities for patients receiving support under JDF programs
- Support data collection and patient assessments for healthcare initiatives
