Senior Civil & Structural Engineer
- HQ at Changi Business Park [ Expo MRT ]
- Work both in the office and at project sites
- Mon to Fri, from 8.30am to 5.15pm
- Salary is $5,000 - $6,500 + Variable Bonus [ No AWS ]
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in building construction, with substantial experience working for A1 Main Contractors
- Experience managing large-scale commercial or industrial projects is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of construction projects from initial stages through to completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to develop detailed project schedules, track progress, and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines.
- Work with architects and engineers to review construction plans, ensuring designs are feasible and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough feasibility studies and risk assessments to proactively identify potential challenges and provide innovative solutions as needed.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications through regular site inspections, monitoring construction activities, and addressing any non-compliance issues.
- Supervise day-to-day construction operations, ensuring on-time completion and adherence to budget constraints while maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards.
- Develop and enforce comprehensive site safety plans and protocols, working in tandem with safety personnel to foster a culture of safety within project teams.
- Monitor and analyse project expenditure, assisting in the preparation of budget forecasts to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Other duties as assigned by the HOD - Engineering or Project Management Team.
