Role Description The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee the planning, design, and execution of residential and commercial construction projects, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and compliance with relevant standards. This full-time, on-site role in Ahmedabad involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and project teams, reviewing engineering drawings, performing site inspections, and resolving technical issues in the field. The role includes preparing and validating engineering calculations, monitoring project timelines and budgets, and optimizing construction methods for quality and efficiency. The Senior Civil Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, and support management in decision-making related to project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Civil Engineering, with proven experience in Civil Engineering Design and application of industry standards.
• Demonstrated experience working as part of teams of Civil Engineers, with the ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of site activities.
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure design, analysis, and compliance with local regulations.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Hands-on experience with civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS, or similar design and analysis tools).
• Thorough understanding of building codes, safety standards, and quality control procedures relevant to residential and commercial projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to document and present technical information clearly.
• Experience managing on-site construction activities, including contractor supervision and inspection of works.
• Prior experience in high-end residential or commercial developments in or around Ahmedabad is an advantage.
