SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise day-to-day civil engineering works for the land reclamation project, ensuring safety, quality, and progress targets are met.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and method statements, providing feedback and solutions when needed.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor ground improvement works, marine construction activities, and reclamation processes such as dredging, filling, and soil improvement.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Manage project documentation, including reports, records, permits, and design submissions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, workplace safety, and environmental standards.
• Support planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize project timelines and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering Degree recognized by the Professional Board of Singapore
• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering site experience in civil engineering works and completed at least 1 Reclamation, Marine Structure or related projects with minimum Contract Value of $200 Million.
• Strong understanding of reclamation processes, ground improvement methods, marine works, and coastal engineering principles.
• Experienced in reviewing engineering designs, solving site technical issues, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Familiar with Singapore construction regulations, codes, and authority submission requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and lead on-site activities with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in Tuas, 5.5 work week
