Job Description : Senior Civil 3D Design Engineer

Location: Pune, Warje

Experience: 8–15 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering

Industry: Engineering Consultancy / Infrastructure Design

Key Responsibilities

• Develop civil design models and engineering drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

• Perform hydraulic calculations and civil design analysis in accordance with applicable American engineering codes and standards.

• Carry out drainage design, detention pond sizing, culvert sizing, and related engineering calculations.

• Create and develop sites, feature lines, grading groups, alignments, profiles, subassemblies, and corridors in Civil 3D.

• Develop and manage pipe networks and shapefiles.

• Create and export COGO points and import survey points for civil design projects.

• Calculate earthwork volumes and perform grading-related design calculations.

• Prepare and modify 2D civil and structural engineering drawings as required.

• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of civil design deliverables with project requirements and applicable standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in hydraulic analysis and calculations using American codes and standards.
• Previous experience working with an engineering consulting firm.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Practical experience in grading, drainage systems, detention ponds, culverts, pipe networks, and earthwork calculations.
• Ability to independently develop Civil 3D models, surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and related design components.
• Good understanding of civil engineering design principles and technical drawing standards.
