Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Career Advisor role based in Ahmedabad. The Senior Career Advisor will guide candidates and professionals in defining career goals, exploring suitable opportunities, and building long-term development plans aligned with market trends. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing skills and aspirations, and recommending appropriate roles, training, and upskilling paths. The role also involves supporting students and early-career professionals through workshops, webinars, and group sessions focused on career readiness, interview preparation, and professional branding. The Senior Career Advisor will collaborate closely with recruitment, staffing, and business teams to align career pathways with organizational needs and client expectations, while maintaining accurate documentation and metrics on candidate progress and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management to help individuals plan and navigate their professional journeys.
  • Experience in Student Counseling, including guiding students and early-career professionals on education choices, internships, and entry-level career options.
  • Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, provide clear guidance, and adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience in a career advisory, counseling, HR, recruitment, or talent development role, preferably in healthcare, technology, or staffing environments.
  • Ability to analyze profiles and labor market trends to recommend realistic, growth-oriented career paths.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a client-focused mindset to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Organizational and documentation skills to manage multiple cases, maintain records, and track outcomes effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Education, Counseling, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications in career counseling or coaching are an advantage.
