Senior Captain

Key Responsibilities :

• Greet and seat guests warmly; ensure a courteous farewell.
• Manage table reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Deliver timely service in line with defined standards.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and presentation.
• Communicate professionally with guests and team; handle calls with proper etiquette.
• Assist guests with menu selections and address queries confidently.
• Serve food and beverages correctly, enthusiastically, and as per service standards.
• Set tables according to event requirements and SOPs.
• Coordinate with the kitchen on menu availability, wait times, and special requests.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Handle clearing, billing, POS closing, and accurate cash/card reconciliation.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of front and back-of-house areas.
• Implement brand standards and operational SOPs consistently.
• Support team performance and coach junior staff.
• Complete shift duties, inventory checks, and any tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications :

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team management skills
• Experience in hospitality or food and beverage service, with a focus on creating exceptional guest experiences
• Proficiency in staff training, conflict resolution, and improving service efficiency
• Attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Knowledge of Burmese cuisine or experience in specialty dining is a plus
• Previous leadership experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is highly desirable
• Fluency in English and knowledge of regional languages will be an advantage
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or relevant field preferred
