Kavveri Defence & Wireless Technologies (NSE: KAVDEFENCE) is a Bengaluru-based RF antenna and wireless technology manufacturer with over three decades of heritage in precision RF engineering. We design, manufacture and qualify antennas, filters, and RF sub-systems for the most demanding environments from airborne and naval platforms to ground-based electronic warfare and surveillance systems among other R&D-heavy wireless applications.

With a portfolio of 1,700+ fielded products across 300+ active R&D programmes, our in-house anechoic chamber, SATIMO near-field scanner give us end-to-end capability from concept to production. We are scaling our R&D engineering team to meet growing demand worldwide for high-performance RF hardware.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior CAD Engineer to own the mechanical and structural design of RF antenna assemblies, radome enclosures, mounting hardware, and precision RF product housings.

What you'll do:

• Design 3D models and drawings for antenna assemblies, RF connectors, radomes, and enclosures using SolidWorks
• Collaborate with RF engineers on electromagnetic performance, impedance matching, and IP sealing requirements
• Produce GD&T compliant drawings and BOMs for sheet metal, CNC, and injection-moulded RF components
• Support DFM/DFA reviews with fabrication and production teams
• Manage the CAD library, drawing release process, and revision control under PDM/PLM
• Support MIL-STD qualification and environmental testing documentation

What we're looking for:

• 6–10 years in mechanical/CAD design for RF, microwave, or electronics products
• Proficiency in SolidWorks; Ansys Workbench a plus
• Working knowledge of antenna types, coaxial connector interfaces, radome materials, and RF shielding
• Manufacturing fluency across sheet metal, CNC, die casting, and plastics; GD&T
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, or equivalent standards preferred
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics, or related discipline
