Senior/Buyer

Core Responsibilities

• Order Management & Fulfillment: Oversee the full Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle for designated portfolios-including specialized outsourcing and sub-contracts-while tracking Supplier OTIF metrics.

• Strategic Sourcing & Contracts: Design commercial sourcing blueprints to secure cost savings, mitigate inflation, and negotiate supply contracts to improve lead times and financial terms.

• Data Automation & Analytics: Create automated purchasing dashboards and data models using Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI/Power Automate) to streamline workflows.

• Vendor & Dispute Resolution: Supervise external service providers, assess their performance, and partner cross-functionally (Planning, Quality, Finance) to resolve Work Order (WO) versus PO discrepancies.

• Risk & Change Management: Proactively manage unexpected PO modifications to avoid factory downtime and monitor vendor schedules to prevent supply chain disruptions.

Qualifications

• Years of experience of tactical procurement, material sourcing, and project management experience in a high-volume manufacturing sector.

• Practical ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) tracking material configurations, years of experience building solutions via Microsoft Power Platform.

• Strong understanding of supply-demand dynamics, inventory management, global metal commodity pricing, and precision machining/treatments.
