We are seeking a skilled Senior Buyer for OEM Spares to join our dynamic team in Navi Mumbai. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a minimum of 4 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in supply chain optimization and category management to streamline procurement processes and evaluate vendor performance efficiently. Qualifications And Skills

  • Expertise in supply chain optimization, a mandatory skill required for coordinating complex logistics efficiently.
  • Category management experience, mandatory for assessing and guiding the purchasing strategy across various product categories.
  • Vendor evaluation skills (Mandatory skill) to assess suppliers potential continuously and ensure standards compliance.
  • Prior experience in vendor management to maintain relationships and ensure supplier satisfaction.
  • Competency in supplier management for overseeing supplier performance and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Proficient contract negotiation skills to secure advantageous terms and optimize purchasing power.
  • Strong analytical abilities to evaluate market conditions and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the supply chain processes to ensure timely availability of OEM spares.
  • Develop and implement effective category management strategies to enhance procurement effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery capabilities to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors to maximize performance and reduce costs.
  • Report on procurement performance and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement goals with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks.
